What is Munawarah?+
Munawarah is a gifting and sadaqah service that allows you to send meaningful acts of charity in Makkah and Madinah. Through Munawarah, you can arrange Qurans, water, prayer mats, dates, and other beneficial items to be given to pilgrims visiting Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi.
What gifts can I send in Makkah and Madinah?+
You can gift Qurans, water bottles, prayer mats, dates, umbrellas, meal boxes, and support items for worshippers and pilgrims in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.
Is this considered Sadaqah Jariyah?+
Yes. Many of these acts, such as gifting Qurans or providing beneficial items for worshippers, can be a form of Sadaqah Jariyah. This means the reward can continue each time the item is used.
How does gifting in Makkah work?+
After you place your order, the Munawarah team arranges your selected gift locally in Makkah or Madinah. It is then provided to pilgrims and worshippers with care, and confirmation is sent once completed.
Will I receive proof of my gift?+
Yes. You will receive confirmation once your gift has been completed. Where applicable, video proof and a certificate are also provided.
